Finally my Copenhagen city guide is here. Every time I have friends from abroad visiting Copenhagen I give them the same list, so now I will share it to you too. And if they have some special request or a special occasion, then I add something. But here is my favourite places in my hometown, Copenhagen. Enjoy!

  • Union Kitchen: cool place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I usually go for breakfast. They serve their famous avocado toast.
  • Raw42: For acai bowl, chia bowl, and granola cashew bowl.
  • Hafnia: Try their Acai bowl.
  • Nimb Brasserie: If you fancy an amazing brunch you should go to Nimb Brasserie on Sundays where they serve an extravagant brunch buffet.

Cake:

  • La Glace: is an old traditional cafe, which my mother use to take me when I was little and we went shopping. This was as good as shopping I remember. They serve the most amazing chocolate cake among other delicious cakes. And then I always order a hot chocolate with whipped cream.
  • Kokkedal Slot: Is a beautiful castle one hour drive from Copenhagen. They serve amazing afternoon tea with lots of different delicious cakes.

Lunch:

  • Beau Marche: Is the cutest little french café hidden in a yard (of my old apartment). This place is so adorable.
  • Victor: A traditional old-fashioned cool restaurant serving all the food you like.
  • Raw42: if you feel like raw food. They also make amazing matcha lattes.
  • Hafnia: for the healthy choice.
  • Pastis: is like Balthazar in New York or George’s in Amsterdam. Super nice french restaurant. I usually go for lunch but dinner is also an option.
  • Sticks’n’sushi: the name says it all. This chain is all over Copenhagen and is great for both lunch and dinner.
  • Sankt Annæ restaurant: For traditional danish food. I love this place and I always try to visit this place every time I am in Copenhagen.
  • Copenhagen Street Food: A warehouse with a lot of food stands -you will find all different cuisines. My favourite is the Vietnamese stand whereI order their fresh rolls.
