My LA City Guide

From late August and up until mid September I was in LA and Nevada desert for Burning Man. After the urning Man festival I spent 6 days in Venice Beach and I spent a lot of time walking around and exploring this area. Overtime I travel somewhere I always ask friends who have been to my travel destination or people who live there about places to go. And many of my friends ask me about where-to-go when they travel to X city. Therefore I find it beneficial to make a Venice Beach city guide where my favorite places are mentioned. I hope you can use it for your next trip to Venice Beach in LA or just let your mind dream away.

There are many cool coffee shops all over LA but this coffee shop, Toms, has a special cosy vibe. They started only making shoes and now the integrated a coffeeshop inside. Toms is worldwide but this coffee shop on Abbot Kinney is worth a visit.

I am very happy at my first visit at Toms coffee... also exited to get my first coffee of the day. Wearing: Monki Top, Asos skirt, Chanel Espadrilles, and Jimmy Choo bag.

A perfectly creamy on top americano.

Another place that I love is, Kreation! They made delicious smoothie and juices, which only organic products. Also they make salads, acai bowls and much more. I got obsessed with their smoothie, especially the "Orange Sunrise" - no worth can describe how tasty this smoothie is. Kreation has several cafés in LA but I only went to the one on Abbot Kinney.

Water with some drops of spirulina and my favorite smoothie on the right.

Another juice place is Moon Juice. They made old pressed juices that are ready for you to-go.

Moon Juices...

I went to this amazing yoga studio, The Yoga Collective which is located on Rose Avenue and has classes everyday all day. I have practiced yoga for many years now and I quite peaky with places and teachers and I must say, that this studio was amazing! I took three classes during my six days stay and I loved every single class. There were different teachers overtime I went and all of them were good and taught in their own way and style. All of the classes I took were very dynamic and fast moving pace (which I love) and all my fellow yoga partitioners were at quite high level.

Venice Beach is perfect for doing sports so I went for a run on Venice Beach and enjoyed the sea view and the creative vibe. Wearing: Adidas Top, Victoria's Secret shorts, and Adidas shoes.

Shopping shopping and more shopping... Shop Planet Blue on Main Avenue has cool brands like, Stone Cold Fox, For Love and Lemons, Free People, and much more. Moreover they have cool girls working in their shop. I bought some cool dresses and jumpsuits

Breakfast at the French Farmers Market where you can sit outside in the little cute garden.

The French Farmer's Market.

The canals in Venice Beach is a must to see.

I got caught in a pink moment in my Paloma Blue top and Hvisk Jewelleries.

Erewhon is an organic supermarket which is definitely worth a visit if you want to eat with your eyes, get a smoothie, and buy a fresh coconut.

My essentials in my Venice Beach home; Kale chips, my Vita Viva juice complex vitamins, eggs for my breakfast, and sweet potato chips (because its my first time to buy them).

Zinque, is another café chain. This caf+e on Abbot Kinney was next to our apartment so we went here to start our day with an espresso. They have electronic cool music playing in the background so for me, this was a perfect way to start my mornings,

I went to the iconic Chateau Marmont for dinner and drinks. The place is in Hollywood and was about 30 minutes drive from Venice Beach. The place has a luxurious chilled vibe. I love the restaurant in the garden.

Wearing: Topshop dress and Jimmy Choo bag.

We went to Melrose Farmer's market on a Sunday and they have Alfred's coffee place which is a cool typical LA-vice café and serves great coffee. I got an americano and I was really pleased with it.

Shadow of my friend and I after our morning coffee.

I hope you will enjoy LA as much as I did. xx Julie
