I’m Fiona & run my own ethically produced swimwear brand Bower. I’m super shy but ambitious. I’m obsessed with the ocean.

I’ve lived in Biarritz for 3 years & 9 months.
Best experience?
There are so many to mention, but it’s the simple things that have been the most memorable - floating on a lilo of the Cote de Basques with a beer in hand, drinking a piscine of rose whilst watching the sunset at Guethary or just enjoying red wine in front of the fire with my friends.
Weirdest experience?
Probably La Fete du Piment - a festival dedicated to a small pepper, where almost everything is infused with piment.
Your top 3 hangout spots?
The port at Guethary, the secret stairs to the right of the Cote des Basques & Marbella beach.
Favourite restaurants?
"Cafe du Commerce", "Cibo" & "L'Antre".
Best date place?
"La Guinguette" in Erromardie is a short drive from Biarritz, you can sit by the ocean eating oysters & a crisp dry white wine.
Best Sunday spot?
"Etxola Bibi" on a Sunday afternoon is the perfect place for a final weekend drink.
If you were to live in another place, where would that be and why?
Amsterdam, we have just moved here. The main reason for a change of pace, to be in a vibrant city that has a lot going on creatively.
Where is your escape place from this city?
I like to head to the mountains. After a short hike you can see all the way from St Jean de Luz to Hossegor.
