Describe who you are in 3 sentences:
My name is Cecilie Blaksted, I write about a greener and healthier lifestyle at simplyfit.dk. Author of the book “Naturlig Beauty”; sustainable DIY beauty products from top to toe. Trainer at Senses; please swing by for a sweat;)
What is your relation to this city?
Copenhagen is my home town and I’ve lived here and worked here since I was 18. No matter where I go, Copenhagen is always home and I love getting back at the end of a trip or vacation.
Best experience?
Copenhagen keeps evolving because of it’s small size and population, you need to renew the spaces so that the people don’t get bored. Another thing is how the city changes with the season, I love that.

Well I think weird is good and if you pay attention you can experience or see something weird everyday. A guy on a scooter with his part or having to pull a guy up from the lakes while walking your cousins dog.
Your top 3 hangout spots?
“Nokken” during the hot summer, “Senses” for a Yoga Class or my Cardio Core, “Dyrehaven” (restaurant/bar) for a great lunch with friends or as a great work-space during the day and even for a beer at night.
Favourite restaurants?
“Osteria 16”, so low key but so so delicious AND the Roof Top restaurant at “Manon Les Suites”, they have the best fries! And an indoor pool area that will keep you feeling exotic through the winter.
Best date place?
I like finding small cosy bars where you won’t run into friends in the beginning (CPH is a small city). Right now my favourite is “Atze Peng”.

Getting coffee at “Kihoskh” at Sønderboulevard, that’s where I do the best people watching and have the greatest catch-up’s with friends.

NYC, such a cliché I know, but it’s my second home, I get recharged and full of creative ideas.
Where is your escape place from this city?
My family have a summerhouse 45 minutes outside CPH in Tisvilde, I’ve been there every summer since I was a little girl, so that’s definitely peaceful.
