Describe who you are in 3 sentences:
My name is Stephanie Visbjerg. I’m 29 years old and living in Copenhagen. I work as Head of PR for a Danish beauty brand called Tromborg. I’m an advocate for all things natural, healthy and organic. I believe every individual has a role to play in protecting the planet and adopt sustainability practices when possible.
What is your relation to this city?
I’m born and raised in Copenhagen.
Best experience?
So many great memories and experiences… but I think the best way to spend a day in Copenhagen is to bike around the city and explore different areas. There is so many charming streets, beautiful buildings, vibrant restaurants and tiny coffee shops.
Weirdest experience?
Maybe this is not so weird because we live in a very small city – but everywhere you go you meet someone you know.
Your top 3 hangout spots?
"Hotel Sanders", for breakfast lunch and dinner – so cosy and really good food. "Union Kitchen" for brunch in the weekends and "Pluto" for dinner and drinks.
Favourite restaurants?
"Geist", "Pastis" and "Kødbyens Fiskebar" - all vibrant and fantastic food.
Best date place?
"Geist"! I love the food and the atmosphere.
Best Sunday spot?
Home... I have a busy schedule during the week, so I love to spend my Sundays at home. I also love a good Sunday brunch followed by a long walk.
If you were to live in another place, where would that be and why?
It’s a though question… if I were to live in another place in Europe it would be London or Paris. But I could definitely also see myself live in New York especially due to my work - it would be a dream come true to get Tromborg to the States!
Where is your escape place from this city?
I love to go to the countryside. I grew up in the city – but I spent much of my childhood on the countryside in our summer house. I love being close to the water and nature – It’s so quit and a great escape from the busy everyday life.
Best 5 local advices?
1. Walk or bike around the city – definitely the best way to explore Copenhagen.
2. Visit "Statens Museum for Kunst", "Thorvaldsens Museum" and "Glyptoteket".
3. Visit "Botanical Garden".
4. Take a walk at "Kastellet".
5. The one food you must try is smørrebrød – my favorite places to eat smørrebrød is "Restaurant Palægade" and "Sankt Annæ"!
